Here's a continuation of "An Edwardian Invasion," fast-forwarded to 1907. The faux Chimera/Lovecraftian aliens have all but overrun large swats of the planet and grinding many of the resisting nations to the point of exhaustion.

That is until British and German scientists discover a weakness in the invaders' devices and physical forms.
